One wrong move, and you’re staring at the Grim Reaper. And your precious ore is gone.

There Are Other Ways to Progress

Let's think outside the purple box. What about focusing on other aspects of the game?

Maybe you could befriend every villager. Perfect every fishing spot. Breed the ultimate pig for truffle mania. These are all fun and profitable alternatives.
