Okay, let's be real. We all love Hunter x Hunter. And we all love assigning personality traits, right? What's more fun than matching the Zodiacs to the Zodiac Twelve? Probably a lot of things, but work with me here!

Rat: Pariston Hill

Ugh, Pariston. I know, I know, people see cunning and trickery, and they immediately think "Scorpio!" But hear me out. The Rat is about ambition, resourcefulness, and charm. Pariston has charm in spades. Creepy charm, sure, but charm nonetheless. He's also ridiculously ambitious. He wants chaos, and he's resourceful enough to make it happen. Fight me.

Ox: Mizaistom Nana

The Ox represents hard work and reliability. Mizaistom seems like the obvious choice, right? He's the voice of reason in the group. He always tries to do what's right. He’s the strong, silent type. He gets the job done. Plus, he looks kinda like a bull with that hair. I rest my case.

Tiger: Cheadle Yorkshire

Tigers are known for being brave, competitive, and confident. And who stepped up to lead the Zodiacs after Netero's death? Cheadle! She's got a plan, she’s confident she can execute it, and she's definitely not afraid to speak her mind. Also, her Nen ability is all about taking control, which sounds pretty tiger-like to me.

Rabbit: Gel

Alright, this one’s tricky. The Rabbit is associated with gentleness, kindness, and maybe even a little bit of anxiety. Gel doesn't exactly scream “gentle." But she's got a quiet intelligence and a surprising amount of empathy for someone who turns into a giant, mutated…thing. It's a stretch, I admit. But the other options were worse.

Dragon: Botobai Gigante

The Dragon is about power, charisma, and leadership. Botobai definitely has the power part down. He's supposed to be one of the strongest Nen users in the world. He also oozes authority. People listen when he speaks. Don’t you dare tell me he doesn't have dragon energy.

Snake: Kanzai

Okay, unpopular opinion time! Snakes are often associated with wisdom, cunning, and maybe a touch of mystery. Kanzai is… not known for his wisdom. But he's definitely a bit of a mystery. And under that gruff exterior, there's a surprising amount of intuition. Also, I just really wanted to give him something cool.

Horse: Saccho Kobayakawa

Horses are known for their energy, enthusiasm, and love of freedom. Saccho is always moving! He's always bouncing around and seems pretty enthusiastic about his job. He also seems to really value his own autonomy. It just fits, alright?

Goat: Ginta

Goats are often seen as gentle, kind, and maybe a little bit shy. Ginta is… a giant, grumpy goat. Okay, a giant, grumpy dude with a goat theme. But deep down, he cares about his friends and wants to protect them. He’s just not great at showing it. He's a softie at heart!

Monkey: Saiyu

This one is almost too easy. Monkeys are playful, mischievous, and intelligent. Saiyu literally uses a monkey as part of his Nen ability! He's also a bit of a prankster and seems to enjoy causing a little chaos. Case closed.

Rooster: Pyon

Roosters are known for being confident, hardworking, and a little bit boastful. Pyon is... well, we don't know much about him. But he's got that confident air about him. Plus, he's rocking the whole rooster-inspired outfit. I’m willing to bet he’s got a pretty high opinion of himself.

Dog: Cluck

Dogs are loyal, honest, and dependable. And who is always looking out for the Zodiacs and trying to keep them on the right path? Cluck! She's the voice of reason and the glue that holds the group together. She's a good dog. No, wait, a good hen? Whatever, you get the point.

Pig: Ging Freecss

The Pig is associated with intelligence, generosity, and a bit of a rebellious streak. Who's a genius Nen user? Ging. Who is incredibly generous with his time and knowledge (when he feels like it)? Ging. And who completely abandoned his son to go off and do his own thing? You guessed it. Ging. He's the perfect Pig. Don't @ me.
