Did Mangle Cause The Bite Of 87

Did Mangle Cause The Bite Of 87

Okay, so you've been down the Five Nights at Freddy's rabbit hole, huh? We all have. And you've probably stumbled upon the burning question: Did Mangle cause the Bite of '87?! Let’s spill the tea (or... uh... Fazbear Fizz?).

Seriously though, this theory is ancient internet history. Like, dial-up modem ancient. But it still pops up, doesn't it? Let's dissect it. You know, for old time's sake…and because it’s just so much fun to argue about!

Mangle: The Evidence (Maybe?)

Alright, so why Mangle? Well, a few things. First, look at that face! Or, rather, faces. Mangle is a mess of endoskeleton and animatronic parts. A beautiful mess, really. But also… potentially dangerous, right?

Plus, Mangle hangs out on the ceiling. Remember that? Creepy, right? So the theory goes that Mangle, hanging upside down, could've easily aimed for…you guessed it…the frontal lobe. Ouch!

And then there's the jaw. Look at that gaping maw. It definitely looks capable of, shall we say, inflicting damage. A little too much damage, perhaps? Think about it!

Also, in FNaF 2, Mangle makes a radio interference-like noise when it's near you. Could this be a malfunctioning system? Or a hint that something terrible is about to go down? Dun dun DUN!

Let's be real: Mangle does seem a little unstable. I mean, it's a broken animatronic designed to be taken apart and put back together by kids. What did Fazbear Entertainment expect to happen?

The Counter-Argument (Because There's Always One)

But wait! Not so fast! Some people (probably the buzzkills) argue against Mangle being the biter. And, like, they make some good points, unfortunately.

Firstly, FNaF 1 Phone Guy mentions the animatronics could "wander around." That means other candidates exist! Bonnie, Chica, Foxy (don't forget him!), even Freddy could be the culprit. Don’t rule anyone out!

Secondly, and this is a big one, FNaF 4 kind of throws a wrench in the whole Mangle-did-it thing. You play as a child seemingly terrorized by nightmare versions of the animatronics. And, at the end, you get… well, that's a whole different can of worms for another time. But the point is, it suggests other events led to the Bite.

Plus, there's the whole "daytime" versus "nighttime" issue. The Bite of '87 is said to have happened during the day. Mangle is only active at night, right? Plot hole alert!

Let’s face it: Scott Cawthon loves to leave things ambiguous. He's the king of unanswered questions! That's what makes the lore so darn addicting!

So, Did Mangle Do It?

Honestly? We'll probably never know for sure. Scott Cawthon is a master of mystery. He enjoys our suffering (in a good way, of course!).

But here's the thing: whether Mangle caused the Bite or not doesn't really matter, does it? The theory is what's fun! Debating it, finding clues, and generally losing sleep over it. That's the real FNAF experience!

So, what do you think? Mangle? Foxy? Someone else entirely? Let me know! Let's dive even deeper down this rabbit hole together!

And remember: stay safe, watch those animatronics, and don't let them bite!
